UNDER DEPARTMENT OF SCHOOL EDUCATION, GOVT. OF ASSAM

This is for the information to all concerned that the online application process for the scheme of “Scholarship to the Differently Abled Student” studying in class XI X, XI & XII will start w.e.f. 18/01/2023 till 02/02/2023 through the official website www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in and ‘Bidyarthi’ Mobile App.

            Only the students of Government and Provincialised schools under Department of School Education, Govt. of Assam are eligible to apply in this scholarship scheme.

            Eligible students are requested to submit online applications to get benefit of the scheme sponsored by the Govt. of Assam.

            The head of the institutions are directed to inform to those students who are under the category of Differently Abled and ensures their applications of those said students. They will also ensure the genuineness of the students and put signature on the Declaration Form which is available in the official website www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in and ‘Bidyarthi’ Mobile App.

            Last date of submission of online Application Form: 02/02/2023.

NAME OF THE SCHEME : 

• “Scholarship to the Differently Abled Student” studying in class XI X, XI & XII in Government and Provincialised schools under Department of School Education, Govt. of Assam

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

• Student must be under the “differently abled” category.
• Student must have valid differently abled certificate from the competent authority of Govt. of Assam.
• Student must be studying in class IX, X, XI, XII during the academic year 2022-23 in Government & Provincialised schools under Department of School Education, Govt. of Assam.
• Having Savings Bank Account from a recognised bank.
• No bar regarding the Annual Income of the family/ Parents.

RATE OF SCHOLARSHIP:

• Rs. 4800/- P.A. for Class IX & X students.
• Rs. 6000/- P.A. for Class XI & XII students.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :

1. Eligible students need to submit individual applications.
2. Before filling-up of the online applications students shall download the Advertisement/Guideline and read the instructions carefully.
3. The Head of the Institutions must ascertain the eligibility of the candidates before putting signature in the Declaration Form.
4. The responsibility to correct entry of Bank Details lies solely on the student and the Head of the Institution.
5. The Department will not take responsibility of disbursing the scholarship money to any candidate with incorrect bank details. Application once submitted cannot be corrected later.
