AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP TO “DIFFERENTLY ABLED” STUDENTS OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (CLASSES - IX, X, XI & XII)
It is for general information that the Government of Assam like last year has decided to continue the Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship to the meritorious Differently-Abled students (PH) of Government & Provincialised schools studying in Classes IX-X (Pre-Matric) @ Rs.400/- (Four hundred) only per month and Class XI-XII (Post-Matric) @ Rs.500/-(Five hundred) only per month during the academic session 2019-20
Eligibility:
- Differently Abled students (PH) who are studying in Classes IX, X & Classes XI, XII during the academic session 2019-20 in Government / Provincialised schools of Assam can apply for the scholarship.
Application Form:
- Applicant / candidates should collect the Application Forms from the Inspectorate of Schools of the concerned districts.
- The form is also available at the official website: www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in
Requirement:
- It is mandatory to furnish a copy of the first page of Bank Pass Book of the student with the Application Form (any nationalized bank, preferably SBI).
- Applicant must submit the Disability Certificate and a recent photograph (Full size) along with the Application Form at their respective schools.
Timeline:
- The last date of submission of the Application Form at school is 30/09/2019.
- The Principal/Headmaster/Superintendent of the concerned school should verify the Application Form and submit the same to the concerned Inspector of Schools, within 11/10/2019.
- The concerned Inspector of Schools has to countersign the Application Form after proper scrutiny.
- The concerned Inspector of Schools has to collect the Application Forms and sent it to Examination & Training (ET) Branch of the Directorate of Secondary Education Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati–781019 on or before 25/10/2019.
Disbursement of the Scholarship:
- The scholarship amount will be disbursed to the qualifying students during the financial year 2019-21.
